News

PMH Investments BV invests in Snoek Puur Groen, an innovative specialist in the green sector.

PMH Investments BV acquires a shareholding in Snoek Puur Groen, a leading company in the green sector. Both organisations share their vision on the promising green transition for the Netherlands. In collaboration with PMH Investments, Snoek Puur Groen wants to further expand its position in a sustainable manner.

Climate change, urbanisation and declining biodiversity make a green transition a must. Within the sustainability challenge that is playing out in society, the green transition will have an influential impact. Greening spatial areas has become a hard social condition. From sound strategic area visions to appropriate realisations, are subjects no longer only for governments, but in the green transition certainly also for companies and institutions. Adequate plans will have to be made in the short term, resulting in appropriate realisations and especially in green experiences.

Snoek makes the outdoors valuable with appropriate realisations and is a progressive advisor and sparring partner in the green transition. Snoek is strong in all green facets from advice, design, construction, maintenance to renovation of green issues.

Douwe Snoek, Director Advice and Innovation Snoek Puur Groen: “The accession of PMH Investments gives us the space to grow both our realization and advice branch in the coming years. Earlier, we opted for security and growth within our family business, with Freek Roorda assuming ultimate responsibility for the realization branch with the design, construction and maintenance components. With the accession of PMH Investments as a shareholder, the desired space and opportunity is created to continue to build our advice and development branch with focus. For example, think of participation processes and concept and vision developments, which can still be separate from a concrete realization. With great passion, I want to further expand these activities at an accelerated pace”

Freek Roorda, General Manager Snoek Puur Groen: “For a next growth phase, we were looking for an investor with an enterprising and no-nonsense profile. And with demonstrable experience in making a company excel together. With PMH Investments, we want to accelerate our growth in a sustainable way and strengthen our position.”

Durk van der Meer, Director PMH Investments: “Snoek Puur Groen is well positioned to become an important player in the green transition. With the available knowledge, expertise and services, Snoek has plenty of growth opportunities in advice, design, realization and maintenance. We look forward to improving the organization together with Freek Roorda, Douwe Snoek and the management team and realizing the further expansion of Snoek Puur Groen. And thus contributing to a more sustainable and greener life.”

This collaboration underlines the commitment of both parties to join forces and create a future-proof and robust company. Ready to make a valuable and powerful difference in the green sector.
